 Recently, as per the guidelines of Vth Dean’s committee of ICAR, New Delhi, the new undergraduate programme of 3+1, BSc (Hons) Community Science has been implemented in the College. This new UG degree programme offers courses of all the five disciplines of Community Science in first three years and in final year the students are given Student Ready Programme, under which students have options to go for a particular vocational package of Experiential learning for six months and RAWE and In plant training for another six months.

MSc-Textiles and Apparel Designing

The student of M.Sc. degree programme covers core and major courses on Advanced Fabric Science and Textile Quality analysis, Computer aided Pattern Making, Fashion draping and custom clothing, Textile Industry and trade, and Marketing and Merchandising, etc. The two year long Masters programme culminates with a six months in-depth research in the form of thesis as partial requirement of MSc degree course programme.

·         The student of Ph.D degree programme covers core and major courses on Functional clothing, sourcing and globalization, Technical textiles, Textile economics,  Computer aided Pattern Making, Fashion draping and custom clothing, etc. The three year long PhD programme culminates with an in-depth research and documentation in the form of a dissertation.

Kumar, Devas, Ordia International, Surat, Cheer Sagar- Export house, Jaipur, RatanTextiles, Jaipur, etc. is arranged. This provides practical on the job training exposure to students and acquaint the industries to know the potentialities of Home-Science Graduates having professional knowledge and skills in Apparel and Home textile Production.
